I'm reading a great book right now and so far it is compelling! It is "Yearning For The Living God," reflections from the life of F.Enzio Busche. The first chapter really puts in perspective something I was always curious about, which is how Germans could have fallen for the social system that Hitler introduced upon them and how they were clueless until it was really too late. My mother had told me some of this, but this is really good stuff.
Elder Busche is a remarkable man and it is well worth to read his story.

Remembering 9/11
Well, today is 9/11/09, eight years after the horrid attack on our nation. I remember it well. I was on the treadmill watching TV and getting ready for work. How was it possible that our mighty nation could be attacked? In the aftermath as a nation we vowed never again. We came together to fight terrorism. But our enemies were already within the borders of our country. And they have been so for almost half a century! There are those who would like us to forget. It never happened. They refuse to show the photos and in time they think a nation will not remember, because they will not do anything to promote remembrance. These are our enemies. And today--where is the reverence and respect due to our fallen heroes?

I'm Grateful For My Freedoms
I must admit, I haven't felt the spirit of patriotism too much lately--not even on the Fourth of July! But that changed today, when I watched a short historical video about the early Mormons in Kirtland, Ohio in the early 1830's. And then I watched the Music and the Spoken Word with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. This performance was a tribute to our Freedom and the Declaration of Independence. This was very moving!
The question I asked myself was this: What am I willing to sacrifice for that which I believe in?
When you understand what it is that you truly believe in, then you begin to understand what it may take to sacrifice for it. The Lord has asked us to go the second mile. When we are willing to go the second mile is when we will find the blessings associated with that journey. Right now we are benefiting from the journey of others ie, early pioneers, soldiers who sacrificed for our freedoms. We live in a now society, where everything is supposed to be quick and easy, no waiting, get rich quick, etc, etc.
Today I reflect on the freedom to take my own journey, and make sacrifices if need be for that which I believe in, my family, my health, my God and religion, my friends and associates, my right to work and make a difference in society.
May God Bless America and may we understand that our freedom comes with a price of sacrifice that others paid and that we must pay for to keep.

Eat Your Fruits and Vegetables
"Eat your fruits and vegetables." That’s what my parents always used to say to me when I was a child. They said it because they loved me and wanted what’s best for me. But if I said to you "eat your chocolate three times a day." Would you think I had your best interests at heart? Of course, as much as you might like it, that would be ridiculous, wouldn’t it? Or would it? But if it was the right kind of chocolate, well then...How about healthy chocolate, dark chocolate with acai berry. Dark chocolate with probiotics. Dark chocolate with Omega-3, all high in antioxidants with high ORAC scores. We feature this on our website:

Now that I have your attention, I invite you to watch the short video below by Dr. Warren. The science on healthy chocolate is out.

Why Network Marketing?
All business gurus agree on one point: the best way to become wealthy is to create your own business.
The specifics of how to do this differ from guru to guru, but several, including "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" author Robert Kiyosaki and "uber" guru Donald Trump say this:
"Network marketing has proven itself to be a viable and rewarding source of income, and the challenges could be just right for you. There have been some remarkable examples of success, and those successes have been earned through diligence, enthusiasm and the right product combined with timing. As with so many issues, there are tangibles and intangibles involved, but success is not a total mystery, and that applies to network marketing, as well." ("Why We Want You to be Rich")
So, what are the advantages of network marketing vs. trying to create a traditional business on your own?

Xocai On A Grand Scale
Here's my delivery truck. I use it to deliver tortillas in Reno, Nevada. I bought this route and truck a year and a half ago. It pays the bills for now. So I got this grand idea to use the available space for advertising. It's really effective and turns alot of heads while going from stop to stop. Eventually, I'll be able to hire someone else to drive it so I can do Xocai full-time.
Just after I had the truck detailed I took it to MXI headquarters in Reno. And it was a pretty impressive site. Enough so that the company owners gave me a free photo shoot! Thanks very much!!
